Background

As society becomes increasingly cashless, it's important to teach young children the value of money and how to manage it. However, traditional methods of teaching financial literacy can be boring and ineffective. Our team recognized this problem and set out to create a mobile banking application that would make learning about money fun and engaging for kids aged 6-13.

Problem

The problem we faced was how to create an app that would be both educational and entertaining for young children. We needed to find a way to teach financial literacy concepts in a way that would hold their attention while also being easy for them to understand. Additionally, we had to ensure that the app was safe and secure for kids to use without adult supervision.

Solution

To address these challenges, we created a mobile banking application called "Money Matters Jr." The app features colorful graphics and interactive games that teach kids about saving, budgeting, and spending. It also includes parental controls that allow parents to monitor their child's activity within the app and set spending limits on their account.

We worked closely with child development experts to ensure that the app was designed with age-appropriate content and activities. We also conducted extensive testing with focus groups of children in our target age range to gather feedback on the user experience.
