Problem

Our client, a major experiential event management company, was struggling with their SaaS ticketing system. They were using an outdated platform that lacked the necessary features to meet their needs, and it was their largest expense as a business. The system was slow, difficult to use, and had limited customization options. This resulted in poor user experience for both event organizers and visitors.

We needed to create a new ticketing system that would be easy to use, customizable, and scalable. Additionally, we wanted to implement a design-first approach to ensure that the platform would not only function well but also look great and embody the elite brand it was representing, as well as serve as a model for a whitelabel B2B solution to empower other experiential companies to benefit from a design-first approach as well.

Solution

We decided to take an agile product design and development approach for this project. Our team consisted of designers, developers, and project managers who worked closely together throughout the entire process.

We started by conducting research on the current market trends and analyzing user feedback from the existing platform. Based on our findings, we created wireframes and prototypes that were tested with real users to gather feedback and make improvements.

Once we had a solid design in place, our development team used modern technologies such as React.js and Node.js to build a scalable platform with robust features such as real-time analytics, custom branding options, and mobile optimization.
