Problem Statement
A global organization was struggling with inconsistent values and behaviors across its various departments and regions. This led to confusion among employees and difficulty in achieving company-wide goals. After conducting executive interviews and gathering leadership input, we discovered that the root cause of this issue was a lack of clear organizational value behaviors.
We knew that to address this problem, we needed to create a set of value behaviors that would be universally understood and embraced by all employees. However, we also recognized that this would be a complex task given the diverse range of cultures and work environments within the organization.
Solution
To solve this problem, we took a collaborative approach. We worked closely with the Executive Board to define a set of organizational value behaviors that aligned with the company's mission and vision. We then conducted focus groups with employees from different departments and regions to ensure that these behaviors were relevant and meaningful across the entire organization.
Once we had finalized the value behaviors, we created a comprehensive training program for all leaders and employees. This program included interactive workshops, e-learning modules, and coaching sessions to ensure that everyone understood how to apply these behaviors in their day-to-day work.
