Halo Financial Services identified this gap and aimed to revolutionize digital banking by introducing a community-based approach. The challenge was to create a digital banking and wealth management platform that not only provided essential financial services but also fostered a sense of community, allowing users to bank and invest collaboratively with friends and family.

Solution

As a Senior Product Manager and Product Lead at Halo Financial Services, I played a pivotal role in translating the company's vision into actionable plans and strategies for the development of Halo Invest. The digital banking app offered a unique community-based approach, enabling users to access a range of financial services, including payments, target savings, airtime purchases, bill payments, fixed deposits, Eurobonds, and mutual funds. The platform incorporated social elements such as communities, clubs, squads, leagues, and esusu (mutual contributory) schemes.
